VENICE, CA, February 27, 2009 /Television PR News/ -- Radical 3D, a respected leader in visual effects, announced the hire of Richard "Dickie" Payne as its Lead Character Modeler for a new series it's producing called "Animal Armageddon."
Payne will be in charge of modeling and texturing characters for the eight part series airing now on Animal Planet.
"Dickie is a valuable addition to our team, and we are pleased to have him join our experienced and talented group working on "Animal Armageddon," said Jason McKinley, Owner of Radical 3D. "His diverse background and his experience in the entertainment industry make him ideally suited to produce the photo-realism required in this project."
Payne comes to Radical 3D with more than 23 years of experience as a digital artist and an Emmy winner for his work on "Star Trek: Enterprise." His professional career highlights such television shows as "Babylon 5", "Sarah Conner Chronicles" and "Battlestar Galactica" as well as feature movies including "Titanic," "Fifth Element," "Serenity" and "Avatar."
