The company will be featured in a segment on "Faith- Based Toys for your Child" as part of a Holiday Collection Series.
From its first line of toys, Alphabet Alley has been a big success with Christian bookstores, gift stores, schools, daycares and homeschoolers. Parents and educators had been looking for entertaining faith-based toys for toddlers, and since October of 2005, Alphabet Alley, based in Houston, TX, has provided them.
The toys produced by Alphabet Alley are designed to be fun to play with, and through specific designs, to enrich a child's development by encouraging verbal communication and storytelling. They keep their young minds occupied for hours. Many of the toys are multi-use in which they combine numbers, letters, words, pictures and motor skills in one product. These are basic, fundamental toys with a positive message so that children actually want to play with them.
The idea of a line of faith-based toys for toddlers began in 2003 when Marilyn Fontana had her own child. She searched fruitlessly for entertaining faith-based toys. After traveling and researching the industry, she realized that there was a need for educational yet fun toys for young children. There were plenty of books and DVD's, but no basic blocks, puzzles or games that entertained young minds. Alphabet Alley's line of toys creates products that parents, teachers and caregivers want and need.
The great thing about the line: "Our toys can be used by the child independently or with an adult." Not only do the toys give the child a sound foundation to build upon, but they also give the parents an opportunity to be an active part of their child's development.
Alphabet Alley will release a new line of toys this summer. The new product line includes five "Smart Fun" magnet sets and a magnetic play board. The five sets are: "In the Beginning" (creation), "Noah and the Ark", "A Child is Born" (Nativity), "The Good News" (Easter) and "One World" (multi-ethnic children from around the world). The magnet sets each contain 17 colorful and engaging pieces. They are made of durable vinyl, which make them school- and toddler-friendly.
