Gambino’s book is sure to be appealing to those who follow the fiction, based on a true story, crime novel arena, with a premise of Vinny Denucci, who is the son of Sonny Denucci, the notoriously ruthless "Boss of Bosses" of the five Mafia families of New York.
The story continues on about Vinny, a bright, good-natured young man, who is sheltered from his father's business by his strong willed mother, Felicia, who envisions a better life for her son than the one chosen by Sonny.
This story, through its many twists and turns, traces the life of Vinny from a normal teen through his initiation into the family, where he becomes a "mobster" and begins to detest the man he has become and the father who forced him to go astray.
Gambino is currently pitching his screenplay adapted from his novel to Hollywood Studios.
